As an Identity & Access Management Architect, you will define and own the target architecture and roadmap for large organizations, advising security and technology leaders. This client-facing role requires strong technical and business acumen, with a focus on securely adopting AI and building trusted client relationships. The position is hybrid and requires fluent Swedish and English, based in Stockholm, Göteborg, or Malmö.
Responsibilities
- Own the target-state identity architecture for a client and the roadmap that gets them there, sequencing the work and defending the trade-offs.
- Advise senior client stakeholders, translating business needs into a robust identity solution.
- Lead the design across a program and guide the delivery team.
- Identify patterns and integration challenges to ensure program success.
- Shape new work by bringing design credibility into proposals and delivery.
Requirements
- Depth in identity and access management, with a track record of owning and defending design decisions.
- Ability to build an adoptable capability, not just deploy or maintain a single product.
- Comfort across functional and technical aspects of identity, with stakeholder skills to lead client conversations.
- Solid grasp of software architecture, integration patterns, and application onboarding.
- Breadth in adjacent disciplines like cloud, enterprise integration, and directory services.
- Approximately 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluent Swedish and English.
- Based in Stockholm, Göteborg or Malmö, on a hybrid pattern.
- Comfortable working across sectors and adapting designs to client contexts.
Desired Qualifications
- A relevant degree, ideally with a postgraduate qualification.
- Security or enterprise-architecture certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF).
- Design depth across more than one identity platform, or on enterprise-scale estates with demanding integration needs.
- Breadth beyond IAM into the wider security or cloud-architecture picture.
