Emerson is looking for an experienced HSE Specialist to lead the development and implementation of Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability, and CSR programs for their Dubai Headquarters and Northern Region operations. The role involves ensuring compliance, fostering a safety culture, and driving operational excellence across various environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead HSE initiatives for the Dubai Campus and MEA region, setting benchmarks for safety and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and legal requirements.
- Lead incident investigations and manage corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain HSE documentation and training programs.
- Oversee permit issuance, safety inductions, and risk assessments.
- Organize safety and environmental awareness events.
- Drive automation and digitalization of HSE processes using Power Apps and SharePoint.
- Coordinate CSR initiatives and support regional leadership in strengthening safety culture and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS function within a large manufacturing organization.
- NEBOSH IGC or comparable Health, Safety, and Environmental qualification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Membership with IOSH or another internationally recognized occupational health and safety professional body.
- Experience in environmental management programs and initiatives.
- Experience using VelocityEHS or similar EHS management systems.
- Experience supporting sustainability, energy efficiency, waste reduction, or environmental stewardship programs.
- Knowledge of digital tools and process automation platforms, such as Power Apps and SharePoint.
