Amazon India Operations Talent Development team is seeking a HR Specialist I for managing the lifecycle of learning program(s) that meets challenging business goals and shows measurable improvements in employee experience.

Key job responsibilities
Dealing with Ambiguity: Trusted to operate independently and are often assigned to focus on areas where the business problem and/or strategy has not yet been clearly defined.

Project Management: Develop project plans that have clear milestones, realistic deadlines, and measurable success criteria. Proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks. Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Problem Solving: Understand the limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions of hard problems, acquiring expertise as needed. Decompose complex business problems and inefficiencies into straightforward and efficient solutions.

Data Driven- Strong analytical and deep dive skills. Perform root cause/quantitative analysis/hypothesis testing. Back arguments/conclusion/decisions with relevant and significant data.

Product Development: Work backward from customer, prototype and innovate, simplify and scale new solutions.

Stakeholder Management: Influence without authority to decouple from dependencies and eliminate problems that stifle innovation or cause user dissatisfaction. Resolve contentious issues, harmonize discordant views, generate constructive debates, and arrive at decisions/consensus. Demonstrate good judgment in how and when to escalate.

Change Management: Create the correct sense of urgency for delivery. Build constituency and advocacy to navigate through change.

Execution Excellence: Works on tactical and strategic aspects. Learning to force multiply. Able to find a path forward in difficult situations.

Communication: Communicates to influence all levels of stakeholders, Is clear and concise in verbal and written communication to present them effectively to senior leaders

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of human resources experience
- Experience with HR processes and systems

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with process improvement and stakeholder management
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
