ABB is seeking an HR Ops Specialist (m/f/d) (80-100%) in Baden, Switzerland, to join their HR Operational Services Team. This hybrid role involves delivering HR services and payroll support, ensuring data accuracy, and contributing to annual processes. The ideal candidate has a commercial degree with HR/Payroll education and 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with knowledge of Swiss tax and social security laws.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver HR services and payroll support to HR, line managers, and employees.
  • Ensure clear communication of policies related to Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Time & Absence.
  • Process HR inquiries and prepare reports for external authorities.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy in all systems and databases.
  • Contribute to annual processes such as tax statements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to risk and control standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Commercial degree with additional education in HR or Payroll.
  • 3-5 years work experience in a similar role within Payroll or HR Operations.
  • Knowledge of Swiss tax and social security laws, including AHV, IV, EO, BVG, and UVG.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote).
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Current work permit valid in Switzerland (EU/EFTA).

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday and/or SAP HCM is highly desirable.
  • French and/or Italian language skills are considered an additional asset.
