Ericsson seeks a Head of AI and Automation to lead strategic AI and automation initiatives within Cloud Software Services (CSS). This role focuses on aligning initiatives with CSS priorities, delivering measurable value, and ensuring strong governance and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the CSS AI use case funnel, quantifying and tracking value (cost, quality, speed, NPS).
  • Govern AI initiatives across the funnel, aligning on common architectures and review gates.
  • Promote CI/CD adoption and best practices, leveraging AI/Agentic frameworks.
  • Drive flow automation within Business Ops & Program Office by leading discovery and delivery of automation and AI use cases.
  • Conduct hackathons and knowledge sharing to foster innovation velocity and transparency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in telecom, technology, or services, with a strong background in Service Delivery, operations, or managed services.
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional automation and/or AI initiatives from idea to scaled deployment.
  • Solid understanding of Cloud Software & Services portfolio and of automation/AI concepts and tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to lead in ambiguity and drive the team with targeted priorities.
  • Experience leading small teams or virtual programs and building data-driven, continuous improvement ways of working.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Act with integrity and drive ethics and compliance adherence.
  • Customer and market insights.
  • Knowledge of the sales process.
