We are seeking a skilled Tech Sourcer to support talent acquisition for Data Center Engineering and Infrastructure Operations roles, focusing on passive talent in the tech domain. The role involves advanced search techniques and candidate engagement for roles across North America.

Responsibilities

  • Source for data center operations, critical facilities, or Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ IT infrastructure roles/ cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/ Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards.
  • Gather requirements, source, and screen candidates in specialized technical fields.
  • Articulate role-based value proposition to candidates.
  • Build strategies and brainstorm creative sourcing solutions.
  • Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/ Open web and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess fit.
  • Filter candidates during recruiter phone screen.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
  • Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.
  • Experience in full-life cycle recruiting.
  • Ability to curate market intel for saturated markets.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing for data center operations, critical facilities, or Industrial/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ IT infrastructure roles/ cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Relevant Academic backgrounds including degrees or certifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, HVAC, Electrician trades, Facilities Maintenance, and IT-related Field.
  • Ability to create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/ Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards will be an added advantage.
  • Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields.
  • Proven ability and sharp on the feet to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/ Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites.
  • Experience in conducting candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit.
  • Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring.
  • Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups.
