Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and challenge the Com&In team and other functions to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity in store communication.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of store communication to ensure it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept and enhances range presentation.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate store communication strategies that support a convenient shopping experience.
  • Actively support the development of the department action plan with store communication initiatives focused on growing the business.
  • Actively contribute to the network of graphic communication partners, sharing solutions and best practices.
  • Set clear expectations and standards regarding routines and responsibilities.
  • Ensure high standards for visual balance, consistency, quality, cost-efficiency, and sustainability in producing and implementing store communication.
  • Stay updated on home furnishing, communication, digital developments, and retail design trends.
  • Ensure succession planning by searching for potential candidates and coaching graphic communication co-workers.
  • Ensure concept and commercial review standards are met through regular checkpoints.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience using graphics design software (such as Adobe Creative suite) and production tools (printers, pre-press production and print techniques).
  • Previous experience with ordering, purchasing, and working with budgets.

Desired Qualifications

  • The pay range for this role is $63,215 - $90,714 based on Ikea equivalent years of experience.
