Responsibilities

  • Architects, designs, implements, verifies, and optimizes performance and power of GPU cores.
  • Builds functional modeling simulations, evaluates process technology nodes, and develops semi-custom circuit solutions.
  • Enhances software, tools, and tests for various graphics and runs benchmarks for different applications.
  • Performs pre- and post-silicon verification to ensure correctness and meet performance and power goals.
  • Works across teams to align on feature development and ensure targets are met.
  • Develops high-quality GPU systems balancing power with performance.
  • Designs and runs comprehensive graphics tests to verify functionality, performance, power, and stability.
  • Conducts complex analyses of test results using statistics and data predictions.
  • Consults with internal or external users and third-party vendors.
  • Builds deep understanding of one's domain and anticipates component integration.
  • Conducts research on industry trends and innovations in graphics.
  • Contributes to conversations to generate new ideas for next generation graphics.
  • Writes clear and detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience (either external or internal).

  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
