This is an internship role for Digital Design Engineering at Qualcomm in Toronto, Canada, starting in 2027 for 16 months. The intern will gain end-to-end exposure in IC design and DFT processes, including RTL coding, integration, testing, and automation.

Responsibilities

Develop RTL code for DFT components generation.
Integrate custom DFT logic for complex SoCs and CoWoS architectures.
Perform Scan, MBIST, and BSCAN insertion.
Run ATPG and coverage analysis; simulate zero-delay and SDF-annotated test sequences.
Build verification testbenches and write verification sequences.
Review static timing analysis (STA) reports and generate SDC constraints.
Implement design automations using Perl and/or Python.

Requirements

Strong digital design fundamentals.
Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL.
Scripting proficiency in Perl, Python, or TCL.
Target-oriented, quick learner, self-motivated, and a strong team player.

Desired Qualifications

Familiarity with basic DFT concepts.
Familiarity with EDA test tools (Siemens Tessent, Synopsys).
Familiarity with C/C++.
Familiarity with SystemVerilog.
