This 4-month internship, for the 2027 intern class, requires in-progress studies towards a degree in engineering or computer science, with a minimum of 1 year of programming experience.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to research and development of deep learning models for Embodied AI tasks.
- Implement and evaluate algorithms using Python and PyTorch.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to explore novel approaches in robotics and multimodal learning.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in deep learning, machine learning, and/or robotics.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- In study towards a bachelor’s, Master's, or PHD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- For 4-month internships: must be available May or June 2027 - August or September 2027
- Expected graduation date of November 2027 or later.
- 1+ years of academic experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, etc
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with large vision-language models (VLMs) or vision-language-action models (VLAs).
- Hands-on experience with robotics simulators.
- Experience with reinforcement learning or imitation learning.
