Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
  • Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions accurately.
  • Maintain equipment operation and conduct cleaning maintenance.
  • Ensure a clean supply of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas.
  • Manage the Swedish Food Market, including merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation.
  • Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions.
  • Maintain supply rotation and stocking, adhering to FIFO and expiration dates.
  • Implement IKEA Food policies for goods receiving and inventory.
  • Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Contribute to an inclusive work environment that embraces diversity.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment (as required by local jurisdiction).
