Field Service Engineer for our Service Academy

As a Field Service Engineer for the Service Academy, you will execute maintenance and repairs on standard products at customer sites, with a focus on preventive and basic corrective actions. This role involves troubleshooting, reporting, and identifying sales opportunities, with an active training process leading to potential migration to the US, Canada, or Mexico.

Responsibilities

Execute maintenance and minor repairs on standard products at customer site.
Investigate and resolve technical problems on standard products at customer site.
Prepare service jobs for efficient execution.
Follow up on customer commitments.
Write and get customer sign-off on service reports.
Update the service execution IT system.
Report unsafe practices and incidents for continuous improvement.
Capture Installed Base information and communicate sales opportunities.
Proactively recommend spare parts purchases to customers.
Execute service in Service Centres if required.

Requirements

Mechanical, electrical, electronic, electromechanical, or mechatronic engineer university degree.
2 to 4 years of professional experience in Field equipment maintenance at client sites, focusing on preventive and basic corrective maintenance.
High English level.
Experience with Mechanical and Electrical maintenance.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Relevant certifications (Tarjeta profesional or Cedula profesional).

Desired Qualifications

Preferably with knowledge in automation and process control.
