Volvo Group is seeking an experienced Cooling Routing Engineer in Curitiba, Brazil, to develop technical solutions for cooling systems in vehicles, including BEVs. The role involves independent work, collaboration with global teams, and applying quality tools and Agile methodology. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of Cooling Systems routing and components.
Provide technical solutions that meet business targets and requirements.
Release documentation (3D models, drawings, technical descriptions).
Develop validation and project timing plans.
Support design reviews, risk analysis, and root cause investigations.
Ensure continuous optimization of product quality and cost.
Apply Agile methodology.
Challenge existing solutions and propose improvements, bringing a proactive mindset to the team.

Requirements

Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical tasks independently, with minimal supervision.
Product development experience, primarily in the automotive industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably PTC/CREO.
Application of quality tools (Risk analysis, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Desired Qualifications

Experience in an Agile environment (SAFe) and cooling system routing.
Proven ability to work with multicultural teams.
Flexibility and adaptability to new tasks and challenges.
