Responsibilities

  • Handle standard purchasing activities delegated by buyers from global sites.
  • Manage RFQ processes, including launching, following up, and answering supplier queries.
  • Compile and analyze supplier quotes, prepare summaries, and cost breakdowns.
  • Resolve portfolio-related issues with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Perform various analyses such as Price Inconsistency, 80/20, ABC, and Volume Trend.
  • Support supplier integration activities, including EDI connections and supplier portal access.
  • Maintain Handler Logs and manage portfolio activities, order management, and priority aftermarket requisitions.

Requirements

  • University degree in BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/E&E/Industrial.
  • Quick learner with a drive for competence building.
  • Continuous Improvement and Excellence mindset.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good understanding of different manufacturing processes and best practice costing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Positive and collaborative mindset with strong energy.
  • MS Office Skills / Advanced Excel Programming Skills.
  • Proactiveness is an absolute must.
