HCLTech seeks an experienced ERP Specialist, focusing on SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, for an on-site, full-time role in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The role involves implementing and supporting SAP projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and configuring SAP S/4 HANA systems. Prior experience with full life cycle implementations, cross-functional integration, and SAP Activate methodology is required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workshops and contribute to process solutioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business SMEs, Architects, Developers, SIs) on current processes and system enhancements.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement complex configuration solutions for SAP projects and products.
  • Create and update documentation including BPDs, Process Flows, KDDs, CDDs, FDS, and WRICEF objects.
  • Translate functional specifications into application design documents and coordinate with the development team.
  • Test new functionality or enhancements, prepare test plans and scripts, and perform unit and integration tests.
  • Propose and recommend SAP standardized best practices and solutions according to clean core guidelines.
  • Participate in project delivery during testing cycles and lead root cause analysis and correction of issues.
  • Utilize SAP Solution Manager and Signavio.
  • Independently lead the development of objects in collaboration with the team.
  • Work with SAP project systems.
  • Understand SAP Activate methodology and Agile (SAFe) development methods.
  • Contribute to the overall project management plan using SAP Activate methodology.
  • Work with SAP S/4 Hana and FIORI.

Requirements

  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA PP, QM.
  • Experience with 2 End-to-End full life cycle implementations in SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Production Planning in a large and complex business environment.
  • Experience working with Interfaces.
  • Experience with SAP module specifics including user exits, batch jobs, and standard SAP reports.
  • Experience with SAP Production planning including material master, latest MRP Types and lot sizing procedures, back flush, range of coverage, scrap and FIORI applications, MRP areas, MRP views, BOMS, item categories, Work center-control keys, capacity levelling and evaluations, routing and advanced routing, strategy groups, usage of stock requirements, and SAP PP configurations.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Experience with special planning procedures.
  • Experience with discrete and repetitive manufacturing.
  • Experience with central function activities ECM/OCM/Batch.
  • Experience in cross-functional integration with sales (SAP SD), procurement (SAP MM), warehouse (SAP EWM), costing (SAP FICO), quality (SAP QM), and plant maintenance (SAP PM).
  • Experience with WBS.
  • Experience with S4 Hana PPDS.
  • Experience with SAP Quality Management.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with IBP or other planning tools is a plus.
  • SAP certifications in SAP S/4 PP, QM, is a plus.
