Responsibilities
- Sets up and maintains benches, testers, and other equipment.
- Transports, installs, upgrades, and configures moderately complex equipment and components.
- Performs moderately complex measurements, documents test results, KPIs and other outcomes, and maintains malfunction records.
- Collaborates to troubleshoot and perform moderately complex repair work, rework, removal, and modifications to equipment.
- Sets up test equipment using hand tools or automatic test methods to perform moderately complex tests of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
- Executes manual and automated test plans and provides input on test cases and test procedures.
- Reproduces and debugs moderately complex issues and documents changes to processes or SOP.
- Tracks the purchasing, shipping/transporting, receiving, and usage of inventory and equipment for test labs, field engineering, and business unit projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Associate's degree and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of Engineering Technician or related work experience.
- Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- CET certificate or 2+ years of electronics coursework.
- 2+ years of experience with general computer skills and Microsoft applications.
- 2+ years of experience in Semiconductor or related industry.
- Military experience or training in electronics field (Rank E5+).
- 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 2+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
