Responsibilities

Research and develop algorithms for cutting edge ultra-high speed optical communication systems.
Test and optimize system performance and behavior in various working environments (simulation, FPGA, ASIC, lab, etc.).
Develop algorithms suitable for HW and FW implementation, including fixed point design, cost/power/performance tradeoff.
Work closely with FW, architecture, VLSI design and verification teams for blocks/system ASIC implementation and validation.
Perform post silicon activities, including chip bring-up, testing, analysis, and optimization of ASIC performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field.
2+ years of Algo/Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Desired Qualifications

Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering or related field.
1+ years of Algo/Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Experience in high speed communication, i.e. SerDes, PCIE.
Experience with optics is an advantage.
