Responsibilities
- Test and validate desktop applications and connected device ecosystems.
- Review requirements, user stories, and design specifications to identify test scenarios and quality risks.
- Design, develop, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing using tools such as Ranorex and scripting languages like Python.
- Execute integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the SDLC/STLC.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Validate application functionality, usability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Support release validation activities and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements
- B.E/B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related Engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated ability in Software testing.
- Very strong experience in automation testing.
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Testing with strong hands-on experience in Test Automation.
- Strong experience in testing Desktop Applications.
- Hands-on experience with Ranorex or similar automation tools.
- Experience in python, C#, or other programming/scripting languages.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodologies.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with DevOps and test automation best practices.
- ISTQB certification.
