Emerson is seeking an Engineer PG and L in Pune, India. The role involves creating technical designs, specifying components, engaging with customers, and performing site travels. Candidates should have experience in Instrumentation and Process Engineering, with preferred qualifications including a Bachelor's/Master's degree.

Responsibilities

Follow departmental and PMO Processes and deliver technically complete designs on time, meeting Emerson quality standards.
Proficiently create electronic drafting (AutoCAD) files of P&ID drawings, structural arrangement drawings, electrical diagrams, fabrication drawings, etc., as required per project.
Specify all purchased and fabricated components required to build solutions, including analyzers, submitting bid specifications, releasing components for order, and working closely with vendors and procurement teams.
Customer Engagement which includes customer KOM, Customer Queries, resolving deviation to specifications.
Effectively work with customers and suppliers for all technical aspects, including customer drawing comments and feedback.
Perform Pre-FAT and FAT and SAT with customer /site travel involved.

Requirements

Experience in Instrumentation and Process Engineering.
Experience in various Analyzers and associated components like - samplers, dryers.
Understand hazardous area classification and applications for international based installations.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Instrumentation with minimum 4 to 8 years of relevant experience.
