Responsibilities

  • Developing new features across L2-L1 interface.
  • Sanity/Smoke testing builds before customer delivery.
  • Identifying and eliminating manual, repetitive tasks through automation.
  • Generating and providing reports to management/stakeholders.
  • Mentoring team members and quickly ramping them up on new tasks.
  • Designing, developing, and deploying tasks independently with little supervision.
  • Engaging with multiple teams (Dev/QA/CE) and managing their daily build/automation requirements.
  • Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information.
  • Completing tasks that do not have defined steps, requiring multiple mental abilities to determine the best approach.
  • Exercising creativity to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products.
  • Using deductive and inductive problem solving, often with missing or conflicting information.
  • Occasionally participating in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.
  • Displaying deep knowledge in a specific area and sharing knowledge with others.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ programming language.
  • Basic knowledge of wireless technologies like 4G/5G.
  • Good knowledge of OS concepts like threading, sync mechanism (mutex/semaphore).
  • Good knowledge of versioning tool Perforce.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environment.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferably some experience in MAC/Phy development.
  • Good knowledge in SCM principles.
  • Experience in writing makefiles will be a bonus.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and Scripting.
  • Knowledge of FAPI SCF.222 interface specs is bonus.
