Responsibilities
- Prepare annual production budget and oversee progress.
- Develop team members, projects, goals, and metrics for operational performance.
- Develop and execute plans to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Operational Excellence teams to integrate lean manufacturing principles.
- Ensure capacity efficiency meets production expectations and identify gaps.
- Lead by example and foster a culture of lean leadership and accountability.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED with significant manufacturing leadership experience considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, production processes, quality systems, inventory control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience coordinating production schedules, workforce allocation, and operational priorities.
- Understanding of production planning, materials management, and supply chain processes.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP for production reporting and inventory transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
