ABB is looking for an E-Next Trainee Engineer to drive the full lifecycle of medium-voltage switchgear, components, and customized solutions. This role involves electrical, mechanical, and digital design, project management, and technical support within a global technology leader's power distribution unit in Xiamen, China.

Responsibilities

Drive the full lifecycle of medium-voltage switchgear, components, and customized solutions (mechanical, electrical, digital) from design to delivery.
Be the bridge between technology and business, responsible for electrical design, mechanical design, and digital solutions.
Lead cross-departmental teams to translate customer needs into innovative products.
Oversee project progress, quality, and costs.
Negotiate and sign technical agreements with clients.
Manage industrialization systems (Windchill, SAP, PDM, etc.).
Establish and optimize standardized processes for customized projects.
Provide technical support to internal and external parties.
Assist in trial production and manage production BOM.
Follow up on and resolve quality issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering fields; Master's degree preferred.
1-3 years of work experience; outstanding fresh graduates may be considered.
Excellent English communication skills, fluency preferred.
Proficiency in office software, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and basic programming languages.
Clear logical thinking.
Goal-oriented, with innovative thinking, teamwork, and cross-cultural adaptability.
Strong proactivity and ability to find solutions in complex situations.

Desired Qualifications

Master's degree preferred.
Outstanding fresh graduates may be considered.
