Responsibilities
- Translate platform and infrastructure architecture into implementable technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and improve infrastructure automation and platform engineering capabilities.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
- Develop scripts and automation to reduce manual effort.
- Partner with architecture, engineering, and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot complex platform, infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues.
- Identify execution bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to teams.
- Contribute to platform modernization and automation roadmaps.
- Promote engineering practices for reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven working experience in Google Cloud (or any other cloud provider), Terraform, and Kubernetes/GKE.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
- Practical experience designing, implementing, or operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting and automation skills using one or more relevant languages or tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to interpret architectural designs and translate them into technical implementations.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with globally distributed teams.
- Experience managing stakeholders and aligning technical decisions with needs.
