HCLTech is seeking a Design Lead for Manufacturing Simulation in Bangalore, India. This role involves the creation, review, and approval of FAI according to AS9102 requirements and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires at least 3 years of experience in FAI activities and expertise with AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

Creation, review, and approval of FAIR according to AS9102 requirements
Design characteristic interpretation, GD&T interpretation, blue-print reading, DPD interpretation
Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders to achieve Project objectives and deliverables
Creation & review of QMS documents according to AS9100 requirements
Participate in team activities like QCPC analysis, continuous improvement, problem solving, Lean, etc.

Requirements

BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive/Manufacturing Engineering with overall 6 years’ experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience in FAI activities working in Manufacturing or Quality roles
Expertise with AS9102 & AS9100 requirements
Hands on experience on FAI creation, review, and approval
Hands on experience in process planning & Inspection plans
Exposure to Machined, Sheet- Metal, Composites & Plastics commodities
Hands on experience in tools such as Net Inspect, DISCUS & Teamcenter
Working Knowledge of GD&T concepts
Exposure to special processes & NDT requirements
Deep understanding of Quality analysis (RRCA, Fish bone, 5 Why etc..) and must have demonstrated effective implementation
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in AS9145, PPAP Elements creation, review and approval is an added advantage.
