We are seeking a Design Engineer in Shanghai for a full-time, on-site role. The position involves 3D module design using Inventor and AutoCAD, supporting project execution, quotation, and manufacturing for marine applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Handle module arrangement 3D drawing design to support project execution & quotation & Module workshop manufacturing.
- Standardize and optimize module design to meet technical specifications, design standards, market needs, and easy installation.
- Build 3D Model of FCM/HSS module product and other possible new module product via Inventor/AutoCAD.
- Define module piping specification as per fluid spec. & velocity etc. and other piping fittings.
- Provide detailed 3D module drawings for module workshop assembly.
- Manage the drawing database systematically.
- Communicate and provide feedback to the Central Product center regarding module standards.
- Communicate with Project Engineer about preferred module arrangements.
- Communicate with module workshop about 'as built' module assembly.
- Support claim handling if relevant to module design.
- Develop new product module arrangement drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree, major in mechanical or similar.
- Background & insight in the Marine product.
- Familiar with marine Class regulation.
- Knowledge of piping & piping fitting material and connecting.
- Welding knowledge.
- 6+ years' working experience.
- Experience with Inventor.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Written and spoken English fluently in the work.
- Design experience.
- Problem solving and target oriented.
- Good communication skills.

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Alfa Laval product is a plus.
- Background of Module or System designer is a plus.
- Experience of module manufacturing is a plus.
