Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
  • Handle server rack installation, hardware break-fix, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Serve as a primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and perform hardware troubleshooting.
  • Perform on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
  • Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Contribute to documentation, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members.
  • Lift and rack equipment up to 18kg, potentially working in cramped or elevated spaces.
  • Cover 24x7 shift rotation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
