Responsibilities

Maintenance and upkeep of the data center infrastructure.
Server rack installation, hardware break-fix on various components, and troubleshooting network issues.
Responding to emergent situations that affect operational stability.
Acting as the primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
Meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and performing first-line hardware troubleshooting.
Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
Contributing to documentation on technical issues and root cause analysis.
Assisting in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).
Adhering to health & safety guidelines while working with equipment, potentially in cramped or elevated spaces.
Covering 24x7 shift rotation.

Requirements

2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
1+ years of computer networking experience.
High school or equivalent diploma.
Ability to lift & rack equipment up to 18kg.
Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution.
Operating efficiently under pressure.
