Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of physical security policies and procedures at datacenters.
- Ensure the physical security vendor guard force has the resources to deliver services meeting Microsoft and customer requirements.
- Perform analysis to detect security threats, alerts, or risks and escalate as necessary.
- Implement security protocols to support the physical protection of company personnel and assets.
- Deliver and maintain security programs in areas of responsibility.
- Partner with datacenter operations, security systems, and other stakeholders for secure and continuous operations.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and maturity of the physical security program.
- Seek data and recommend strategies to reduce churn, optimize resources, and manage budgets.
- Implement creative solutions, scale, automate, and simplify processes.
- Triage physical security and business impacting events, inform regional leadership, and ensure effective incident response.
- Contribute to collaborative efforts with stakeholders to support security capabilities.
- Support risk identification for datacenter insecurity and security disruption.
- Summarize and report risk analysis to internal stakeholders and leaders.
- Embody company culture and values.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Security Program or Program Management or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Risks or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Willingness to be on-call 24x7x365.
- Ability to travel periodically within or outside of assigned city/metropolitan area.
Desired Qualifications
- Industry security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or other relevant security certification.
