Microsoft seeks a Data Security Cloud Solution Architect to guide enterprise customers in protecting sensitive data and securely adopting AI. This role involves managing technical relationships, developing data security strategies, and driving the adoption of Microsoft Purview and Security Copilot to mitigate risks and achieve customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

Own the technical relationship and data security strategy between the customer and Microsoft.
Guide customer engagements from discovery and architecture through adoption and optimization.
Help customers assess and reduce data and AI risks using DSPM and DSPM for AI.
Accelerate the effective use of Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and Insider Risk Management.
Define Purview data security controls for AI agents and coordinate specialists for integrated governance.
Help customers use Security Copilot in Purview for improved investigation efficiency.
Translate objectives into clear scopes and delivery plans, orchestrating teams and partners.
Escalate blockers, defects, and feature requests, and share insights with engineering.

Requirements

Technical experience in data security or secure AI, translating business, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements into adoption plans.
Deep expertise in data security, complemented by a broad understanding of identity, threat protection, security operations, cloud security, and AI security.
Customer-facing experience advising technical and executive stakeholders.
Business acumen and execution skills to connect customer priorities, risk, and technology investments to practical plans.
Growth mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and German (C1).

Desired Qualifications

Expertise in Microsoft Purview capabilities or comparable data security solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Purview architectures and enterprise-scale implementation patterns.
Knowledge of the data security market, relevant regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2).
Experience applying multiple Microsoft Purview capabilities, Security Copilot, or data protection controls for Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agents.
Experience coordinating Microsoft teams and partners in complex customer engagements.

Benefits

Typical base pay range for this role across Germany is €64,800.00 - €108,000.00 per year.
Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
