Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Operations team responsible for data center infrastructure maintenance and upkeep.
  • Perform server rack installation, hardware break-fix on various components, and troubleshoot network issues.
  • Respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal customers (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external service partners (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers).
  • Meet SLAs by addressing trouble tickets via a directed workflow and perform first-line hardware troubleshooting.
  • Participate in on-call duties, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities.
  • Contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, safety, and security.
  • Contribute to documentation on technical issues through root cause analysis and participate in process improvement initiatives.
  • Potentially assist in training less experienced team members.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
