AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Data Centre Engineering Operations professional to manage the mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure in India. This role involves hands-on operational support, incident management, and vendor relations, requiring 24x7 on-call availability.

Responsibilities

Own Data Center changes, events, incidents, and problems from beginning to end.
Oversee maintenance and repairs of Electrical/Mechanical/Fire Suppression Systems.
Manage asset and inventory.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, emergency response procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
Ensure standardization and consistency with best-in-class operating practices.
Develop and deliver regular engineering reports and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
Provide hands-on facility support for equipment installation, decommissioning, and replacement.
Oversee technical compliance auditing and close-out of corrective action plans.
Manage information flow during incidents and provide regular updates to management.
Review incident reports, document trend summaries, and recommend actions to management.

Requirements

2+ years of relevant work experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Experience in data center engineering

Desired Qualifications

4+ years of data center engineering experience
