Responsibilities
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment and HVAC equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of all Data Center systems, including incidents, events, and problem management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, cooling systems, fire/life safety equipment and generators.
- Provide assistance to contractors or data center engineers for proper operation and maintenance of facility equipment.
- Deploy new equipment, including building racks and cabling.
- Perform site walk-throughs to verify proper operation of facility equipment and monitoring systems.
- Monitor alarms and systems for power, cooling, and fire suppression.
- Plan and coordinate vendor works on site.
- Support other sites and teams during events and planned works.
- Carry out rack power up and installation duties.
- Monitor and facilitate new equipment handover.
- Support new hires and team members through knowledge sharing.
- Participate in event response and drills.
Requirements
- Electrical, mechanical or instrumentation training and/or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
