Responsibilities
- Conduct research on strategic cybersecurity topics and translate findings into clear implications, options, and recommendations.
- Drive alignment across cybersecurity teams and stakeholders on cross-cutting priorities and interdependencies.
- Identify and address fragmentation, gaps, or misalignment within the cybersecurity function.
- Translate agreed leadership priorities into defined actions, ownership, and follow-up.
- Monitor progress on high-priority cybersecurity topics and escalate as needed.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to build and sustain shared direction.
- Contribute to the Enterprise Cybersecurity Management Team with cross-domain awareness, enterprise perspective, and sound judgment.
- Identify emerging themes and systemic issues affecting the cybersecurity function's effectiveness.
Requirements
- Significant experience in cybersecurity and technology risk within a large and complex organization.
- Broad understanding across multiple cybersecurity disciplines (technical, operational, architecture, product development, governance, risk management).
- Demonstrated ability to investigate complex cybersecurity topics and translate findings into clear analysis, recommendations, and leadership material.
- Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality materials for senior audiences.
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change across functional boundaries in a cybersecurity context.
- Sound judgment, credibility, and professional maturity appropriate to a management-team-level appointment.
- Hands-on experience utilizing large language models (LLMs) for research and professional material production.

- Experience developing position papers, decision proposals, and executive briefings on complex cybersecurity topics.
- Experience interpreting and normalizing analyst research, industry practice, and market developments into actionable guidance.
- Experience operating across both strategic and operational dimensions of cybersecurity.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership on enterprise-wide cybersecurity topics.
- Experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives requiring sustained engagement across multiple teams or leadership areas.
