In short

As a Cybersecurity Analyst in Bengaluru, India, you will lead threat analysis for semiconductor IP and firmware, integrating security into the development lifecycle. You will advise product teams, author customer guidance, review RTL, and support in-field activities, leveraging Python and AI agents for analysis and automation. This full-time role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and typically 4+ years in product cybersecurity or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead threat analysis for semiconductor IP and associated firmware, identifying assets, threats, and attack paths.
  • Run security analysis across the cybersecurity lifecycle: planning, design, implementation, verification, and release.
  • Advise product teams on cybersecurity requirements, architecture, and verification.
  • Author customer-facing security integration guidance.
  • Review RTL, architecture, and verification intent against secure-design principles.
  • Support in-field cybersecurity activities, including vulnerability assessment and incident analysis.

  • Comfort analyzing without a single known end-system, covering representative integration scenarios and stating assumptions.
  • Experience applying a cybersecurity lifecycle across planning, requirements, design, implementation, verification, and release.
  • Ability to translate threat analysis results into requirements, design guidance, verification objectives, and release evidence.
  • Hands-on understanding of embedded systems (SoC or MCU integration, firmware, hardware/software interfaces, memory-mapped registers, boot and debug, on-chip interconnects).
  • Ability to reason about hardware-rooted and firmware threats, and read architecture, databooks, and interface specifications.
  • Hands-on proficiency as a digital designer or digital verification engineer.
  • Ability to read and discuss RTL (Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL), architecture, interfaces, and register maps.
  • Ability to judge implementation and verifiability of claimed cybersecurity controls.
  • Experience delivering analysis or engineering work inside agile product teams, including re-scoping when product content changes.
  • Ability to write and maintain Python for analysis and automation.
  • Practical experience using AI agents and agentic workflows for research, drafting, and repetitive analysis.
  • Hands-on use of Jira, Confluence, Git, and GitLab (or equivalent) for tickets, documentation, and review.
