Microsoft is seeking a Customer Experience Engineer II to help redefine customer support for M365 services, including Copilot. This remote, full-time role involves deploying M365 for large organizations, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, and providing engineering support. You will also act as the voice of the customer to drive product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer's M365 support experience by working closely with engineering.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on core workloads like SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Exchange (preferred), or Microsoft Teams.
- Support M365 customers via multiple modalities within a 24x7x365 global support delivery team.
- Possess the ability to go technically deep across M365 services, actively seek solutions, and communicate trends to leadership.
- Improve internal efficiency and customer happiness by optimizing existing processes and tools.
- Build strong working relationships with other engineering teams related to assigned service areas to leverage for escalations and drive product improvements.
- Lead and contribute innovative ideas to M365 Service Improvement Programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Data Analytics/Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or a related field AND 2+ years of experience in the technology industry, cloud, technical support, and/or customer experience engineering OR equivalent experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Data Analytics/Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or a related field AND 5+ years of experience in the technology industry, cloud, technical support, and/or customer experience engineering OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience.
Benefits
- Base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. Specific ranges apply for San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
