Responsibilities
- Work onsite at datacenters in Busan.
- Perform basic operational tasks like site rounds, recording observations, and taking measurements under supervision.
- Learn to operate critical systems safely and professionally, with a chance to earn Microsoft CET Level 1 certification.
- Monitor and inspect facility equipment (HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety systems) and report abnormal conditions.
- Utilize CMMS for asset tracking and work order management.
- Assist with emergency monitoring and response.
- Support incident investigations by gathering data and contributing to root-cause analysis.
- Participate in planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Document maintenance and troubleshooting activities and escalate issues.
- Contribute to developing MOPs and SOPs for safe operations.
- Conduct technical research to enhance knowledge.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- South Korean National or possess residency and eligibility to work in South Korea.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
Desired Qualifications
- Completed qualification in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical engineering or related qualification.
- Electrical or mechanical engineer diploma level 2.
- Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance.
- Able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication.
- Desire to learn, grow, and develop new technical skills.
- Flexibility to work non-standard business hours that may include weekends and/or holidays.
