Responsibilities
- Drafts, negotiates, and executes complex, high-impact supplier agreements in collaboration with legal, stakeholders, sourcing, finance, and other cross-functional areas.
- Collaborates with sourcing, stakeholders, legal, and other SMEs to develop contract strategies to protect Qualcomm's business, IP, and leadership positions.
- Researches, analyzes, and presents contractual positions (i.e., liability, confidentiality, etc.) in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs, focusing on assessment/risk mitigation.
- Leads and manages contract management systems and related business processes in accordance with business unit requirements.
- Drives contract process improvements to support business objectives, reduce cycle time, and eliminate non-value-added costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating procurement contracts.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 2+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
- OR Associate's degree in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 4+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
- OR High School diploma or equivalent in Communication, Business, Political Science, or related field and 6+ years of Contract Administration experience or related work experience.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

- Communicates complex contractual issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders with varying levels of contract, business, and technical knowledge.
- Leads contract-related initiatives, escalations, and process improvements that support business objectives, mitigate risk, and improve operational efficiency.
- Influences key stakeholder decisions by providing practical, business-oriented contract guidance and risk-based recommendations.
- Supports the development and implementation of contract strategies, templates, playbooks, and business processes aligned with organizational objectives.
