Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, development, and delivery of software for compute chipsets.
- Collaborate with technology areas including BSP, Kernel, and CPU.
- Drive requirements scoping, analysis, and planning, including interdependencies and schedule optimization.
- Establish and maintain a clear Plan of Record commitment and drive prioritization.
- Implement rigorous execution discipline and communication processes (risk management, mitigation, tracking, executive reporting).
- Develop program indicators to manage program health, quality, and timelines.
- Develop and establish processes to streamline the development cycle and integrate multiple plans and dependencies.
- Present program status to stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.
Requirements
- Experience and domain knowledge of Wireless/Semiconductors is a must.
- 10+ years of experience in a combination of Software product development and program management in the semiconductor/wireless industry.
- Experience in software frameworks and distributions based on Linux (e.g. Yocto, Ubuntu, RedHat, Debian etc.).
- Experience with Windows.
- Thorough understanding of embedded software and systems.
- Experience with end-to-end product integration.
- Experience managing software products through the entire development life cycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with embedded open-source software technology and ecosystem is a plus.
- Master's in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Business Administration is preferred.
- Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
