Microsoft seeks a Cloud & AI Solution Engineer passionate about infrastructure and AI to drive technical sales for commercial customers. You will modernize platforms and database/analytics stacks using Azure, focusing on migration, modernization, and Agentic AI integration to help customers achieve more.

Responsibilities

Lead customer engagements for Platform Estate modernization, Databases & Analytics, and Agentic AI application platforms.
Drive technical sales with decision makers using demos and PoCs to influence solution design and enable production deployments.
Conduct technical workshops with live demos, co-create architectures, and perform rapid prototyping, proofs of concept & pilots.
Prove technical solutions and reuse existing architectures to influence solution design and secure customer commitment for deployments.
Maintain deep expertise in cloud migration (Windows, Linux, app workloads), resiliency, security, and compliance.
Maintain deep expertise in the Analytics Portfolio: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL), and Hadoop & BI solutions.

Requirements

7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ year(s) technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
Proven experience in cloud infrastructure, including migration of workloads such as Windows, Linux, VM.
Proven experience in designing or selling solutions involving hybrid networking, secure connectivity, or network performance optimization in enterprise environments.
Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Azure Databricks) and competitors (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake) in data warehouse, data lake, big data, analytics, real-time intelligent, and reporting using integrated Data Security & Governance.
Proven experience with Azure Databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, DocumentDB, PostgreSQL) for migration & modernization.
Proven ability to lead technical engagements (e.g., prototyping, pilot, PoCs) that drive production-scale outcomes.
