C++ Developer in 6G Simulator Team (Mid or Senior )

In short

We are looking for engaged C++ Developers to join a newly created team in Kraków, Poland, working on a powerful UE Simulator for 6G. This hybrid role requires a BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IT, with strong software engineering skills in C++, Python, DPDK, and knowledge of L2 Protocols and multithreading.

Responsibilities

Be part of an agile team that contributes to Layer 2 development of a UE Simulator
Use a Cloud RAN environment to test and validate 6G features
Work in an exciting technical area, supporting Ericsson internal users with an important product for 6G
Have the possibility to drive innovation and make new insights reality
Get the opportunity to work with everything needed in a team: analysis, system design, pre-development and implementation in small increments, verification (using both unit and integration tests) and ensuring short feedback loops

Requirements

MSc or BSc level in Telecommunications, Electronics or IT
Knowledge about embedded programming, ideally within the telecom sector
Good software engineering skills with ability to write high-quality code (e.g. C++, Python) in a complex and performance-sensitive product and knowledge in DPDK
Proficiency in L2 Protocols such as Medium Access Control (MAC), Logical Link Control (LLC), and Radio Link Control (RLC)
Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing
Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
