The Business Operations Manager at Microsoft India acts as the Chief of Staff to the Area Vice President, supporting strategic alignment and ensuring subsidiary goals are met. This role involves driving business rhythms, managing key engagements, and contributing to transformational projects.

Responsibilities

Drive Rhythm-Of-the-Business orchestration and facilitation, including SLT meetings and content preparation.
Coordinate global QBCs, Corp meetings, and Area meetings with stakeholders.
Partner with Finance, HR, and CELA to drive key functional milestones.
Ensure effective communication to internal and external stakeholders in partnership with the communications team.
Drive the One-Microsoft India agenda with the India SLT and leadership team.
Oversee planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up for all action items.
Own content for external events and meetings (customer/partner/influencers) for the AVP.
Build analytics and insights to deliver impactful business outcomes from engagements.
Deliver impactful visits for senior executives to advance strategy and business objectives.
Partner with Executive Business Admins to ensure effective time allocation for the CVP.
Drive employee engagement and culture.
Support the CVP in contributions to transformational projects.
Work with MCAPS India Area LT members on specific transformational projects.
Serve as Project Lead or Project Manager for strategic projects.
Collaborate with SE&O Lead and CFO to drive the growth agenda.

Requirements

A combination of an engineering / technology degree plus MBA.
High executive presence, ability to lead via influence, collaboration, and building credibility.
Experience working in a matrixed environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in an agile environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to travel extensively across India.
Minimum 12+ years relevant experience.
People management experience, especially in Microsoft, is highly desired.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in Marketing/Partner/Sales/technology/Start-up roles is highly desired.
People management experience, especially in Microsoft, is highly desired.
