Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the IAS business in Korean and Global Korean OEM and Tier markets.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and translate SWOT results into strategies.
- Develop and implement business plans and sales & marketing strategies.
- Reinforce the market position of IAS solutions including Sealing & Dispensing, Hybrid Joining, Inspection Vision, and Joint Analysis.
- Focus on digital transformation and advanced automation solutions.
- Develop Annual & Quarterly Sales Plans and long-term growth plans (3 years).
- Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for the IAS Business Line.
- Drive profitability improvements through efficient resource allocation and cost management.
- Establish and monitor targets for product mix, sales volume, and market share.
- Supervise day-to-day sales activities with Sales, Project, and Service employees.
- Ensure the organization is fit for purpose (size, structure, skill-wise) and improve competence levels.
- Coordinate customer references and Best Practices.
- Coordinate Cross Border business with/for Global Key Accounts.
- Communicate and cooperate with other departments, Customer Centers, and IAS Global Headquarters.
- Lead, direct, and control all sales and Service functions to meet business objectives.
- Comply with regulations and standards.
- Build a talent pipeline for future leadership positions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-performing teams.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, marketing, and managerial experience in a sales company environment within the manufacturing industry.
- 8 to 10 years of experience running a business unit with full P&L responsibility.
- Experience in successfully leading a sales/service team.
- Proven track record in identifying and setting up sales channels within the Tier 1 segment supplying to the car manufacturing industry.
- Ability to achieve results from action plans deriving from solid strategic thinking.
- Finance knowledge on income statement.
- Able to write and communicate in writing and especially verbally in English.
- Expertise and knowledge in automation and joining technologies (ideally in Sealing & Dispensing, Hybrid Joining, Inspection Vision, Joint Analysis, and relevant applications) within the automotive industry (ideally bodyshop and its Tiers).
- Expertise and knowledge in automated machinery (Robot) solutions to link to a customer’s requirement.
