- Ensure alignment with IKEA’s business and sustainability goals.
- Build and develop supplier partnerships through performance management, capability development, and continuous improvement.
- Drive cost optimization and affordability by identifying best-buy opportunities and value chain improvements.
- Lead supplier performance and business development through action plans and category strategy implementation.
- Manage supplier transitions and sourcing changes to ensure business continuity and long-term competitiveness.
- Provide market and supplier insights to support fact-based decision-making and strategic business growth.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Procurement, Purchasing, or related business development environments.
- Strong passion for business development, supplier partnerships, and value chain optimization.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to create win-win solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, using facts and data to drive decisions and business improvements.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with curiosity to identify opportunities, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead projects, manage change, and collaborate effectively across suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Interest in manufacturing, supply chains, and market dynamics, with a desire to continuously learn and develop industry knowledge.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken.
