Responsibilities
- Steer the organization's accounting functions and empower strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting.
- Guarantee excellent control of all financial aspects of the organization.
- Control the budget of 5 Business Lines (approx. 30M USD revenue) by providing strong analytical financial inputs.
- Lead the financial planning and ownership of all month-end closings.
- Ensure the highest control of the balance sheet and P&L through adequate procedures and processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations proactively to local management and the Director of Finance of North America.
- Develop and lead your own team by example, supporting individual team members.
- Act as legal representative for the Customer Center and take responsibility for administration tasks.
- Align procedures with fellow business controllers in Mexico and regional controlling departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, international finance, controlling, business, accounting or similar.
- Proven leadership skills including a clear vision and ability to achieve results from action plans.
- Strong SAP knowledge (FICO, WM, MM).
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Ability to analyze information and deliver innovation, creating new automated standards and processes.
- Customer oriented and solution focused attitude.
- Strong international collaboration and alignment.
- Growth mindset.
- Excellent knowledge of English language.
- Mastery of international financial reporting standards.
- Experience in leading, managing and motivating people, adapting easily to different cultures.
- Working within an international matrix-organization.
