Atlas Copco Group is seeking an analytical Finance professional for a dual role as Assistant Divisional Controller & Business Analyst in their Airtec division, located in Antwerp, Belgium. This hybrid position involves financial controlling, P&L analysis, global planning cycles, and driving digitalization through Power BI and AI integrations.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting packs for divisional management and the Business Board.
- Take ownership of P&L analyses, including cost/margin control, overhead variance, cost bridges, and gross profit follow-up.
- Support the local product company in Antwerp/Wilrijk.
- Coordinate global planning cycles (budgets and annual plans).
- Act as a sparring partner for local controllers to enforce Group guidelines.
- Drive digitalization by replacing manual spreadsheets with Power BI models, automated data flows, and AI/Copilot integrations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent, with a few years of experience in controlling, accounting, or audit (preferably industrial).
- Solid understanding of group reporting and industrial cost accounting (standard cost, absorption, variance analysis, margin bridges).
- Advanced data capabilities, including high proficiency in Excel and hands-on Power BI data modeling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Copilot, and AI tools in reporting.
- Critical mindset to audit source data accuracy.
- High integrity, analytical curiosity, and effective communication skills.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Desired Qualifications
- Candidates with strong data/analytics backgrounds and developing controlling experience are welcome.
- Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, or Group reporting systems (GPS) is an asset.
- Knowledge of Dutch or prior experience within Atlas Copco is considered a plus.
