Seeking a BDM Optimization professional for Atlas Copco in Shenzhen, China. This full-time, remote role requires strong sales management and marketing experience, preferably with compressor technology. The candidate will drive business development, analyze market trends, and support sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Optimization results in terms of NIS and consolidated gross profit.
- Develop a clear business development vision for the Optimization product portfolio in China.
- Follow competitive moves and benchmark performance against Atlas Copco.
- Monitor market trends and governmental incentives for Optimization sales.
- Construct action plans including product differentiation, pricing, and logistic flows for the Chinese market.
- Develop process-related actions including sales approach, lead generation, and quotation management.
- Ensure sales organization proactively sells the Optimization product portfolio.
- Visit regional teams to follow-up and support their business development.
- Support regional sales teams with training material and tools.
- Ensure local business portal information and Optimization trainings are up-to-date.
- Implement structured price positioning with the local Pricing and IQ2 teams.
- Collect and interpret customer needs for new product development.
Requirements
- Sales management and/or Marketing experience in Service or prime equipment.
- Strong technical background, preferably with compressor technology.
- Experience in project management.
- Good command of English.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment is considered a plus.
- Experience in managing a team is considered a plus.
- Engineering degree plus several years of relevant sales and marketing experience is preferred.
