This role requires a strong understanding of ETL concepts and data flow, along with expertise in SQL for complex query writing and data comparison. The candidate will be responsible for preparing ETL test cases and should have exposure to ETL automation.

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts: Extract, Transform, Load and data flow from source → staging → target systems
  • Knowledge of full load, incremental load, and historical load validation
  • Ability to validate data inflow and outflow across upstream and downstream systems
  • Strong SQL skills to Write complex queries (joins, subqueries, aggregates) and Compare source vs target datasets
  • Hands-on experience with databases PostgreSQL , Oracle , Data warehouse tables
  • Experience validating flat files: CSV ,XML,Control files,Checksum / record count validations
  • Ability to Analyze requirements and mapping documents
  • Prepare ETL test cases based on acceptance criteria
  • ETL automation exposure

Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications in Cloud Testing or ETL/DW Automation are a plus.
