Manage a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment as an Automated Operations Engineer, ensuring seamless service delivery and leading a team to meet SLAs and KPIs for network surveillance and troubleshooting. This role requires 3-4 years of experience in Telecom Network Operations, with technical skills in GSM, CDMA, SQL, Perl, and PostgreSQL, and preferred certifications like ITIL, CCNA, JNCIA, or CCIP.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day NOC operational performance and ensure smooth network operations
- Lead team to consistently meet SLAs and KPIs for Network Surveillance and first-level troubleshooting
- Manage and resolve Trouble Tickets with timely follow-ups per the MSTOP process
- Drive performance reviews and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Interface with cross-functional teams
- Ensure new node integrations follow standardized processes
- Publish KPI and SLA reports
- Forecast manpower requirements and manage team capacity
- Conduct Performance Appraisals
- Maintain high team morale, manage attrition, and support competence development
- Report security breach incidents and suggest corrective measures
Requirements
- Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
- 3–4 years in Telecom Network operations
- GSM & CDMA knowledge
- Telecom Service Networks knowledge
- SQL
- Perl
- PostgreSQL
- People management
- Customer relationship management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Hindi
- Integrity, positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- ITIL / CCNA / JNCIA / CCIP (preferred certifications)
