Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality training data to improve Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.
- Perform precise annotation tasks including object detection, semantic segmentation, object tracking, and open-text evaluation.
- Proactively identify and correct errors to ensure high data integrity.
- Write grammatically correct, creative, and technical texts adhering to complex guidelines.
- Make strong judgments to address ambiguous situations or incomplete information and propose solutions.
- Quickly learn and efficiently utilize specialized annotation tools and platforms.
- Scale and transition between 2-3 programs based on business needs.
- Train associates and provide peer feedback.
- Validate data based on specific annotation guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of audit methodologies, checklists, and test frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 0.6 - 5 years of experience in data transcription and annotation.
- English proficiency (C1+ or > C1 fluency) with good business writing skills.
- Proficiency in generating high-quality human insight data across text, image, video, and audio modalities.
- Specialization in LLM annotation work using Amazon internal generative AI tools.
- Proficient research skills with experience to write basic prompts and synthesize information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote, multi-cultural environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in natural language data labeling, data annotation, linguistic annotation, or other forms of data markup.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Ability to transition immediately between projects as per business requirements.
- Proactively identify day-to-day operational friction and bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Ability to maintain individual productivity goals.
- Willing to share knowledge.
