We are seeking an Assembler II for our 2nd shift in Richmond. This full-time role involves assembling finished products using hand and power tools, following blueprints, and performing quality checks. The position offers an hourly wage of $23.50 plus a shift stipend.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble finished products by putting components together.
  • Use hand and power tools.
  • Perform quality checks on products.
  • Follow blueprints and standard operating procedures.
  • Document processes and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members.
  • Participate in daily status board meetings and propose solutions.
  • Identify and drive waste elimination opportunities (Kaizen improvements).
  • Engage in 5S routines for workplace organization.
  • Seek cross-training opportunities and learn new processes.

Requirements

  • Strong manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow blueprints and instructions.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to report deviations and update Team Leader/Manager.
  • Willingness to review and suggest improvements for Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

  • Experience in a fast-paced assembly setting is beneficial.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
